WELCOME TO PUKAPUKALAND

PUKAPUKALAND, located in Fujioka-cho, Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture, is a relaxing space themed around hot air balloons and country living.

The main house has a relaxing, warm atmosphere, making you feel like you're visiting grandma's house in the countryside. You can relax on the veranda and read manga, play board games with friends, or gaze at the stars.

Let's harvest some vegetables from the neighboring Pukapuka Farm and eat them for breakfast.

Now, when you're ready, hop in a hot air balloon and head off on an adventurous flight!

SLEEPING ROOM

Bedroom 1

It is a Japanese-style room with tatami on the east side.
It features large windows that let in lots of light.
There is a library attached.
There is also a large desk, making it easy to do various tasks.

Bedroom 2

It is a Japanese-style room with tatami on the west side.
It's the room closest to the toilet.
There is a closet included.
It's small, but it has a stylish desk so I feel comfortable here.

FLOOR GUIDE

ENTRANCE

There is a water jar for medaka fish in front of the entrance of PUKAPUKALAND. Watching the 11 medaka fish swimming happily will make you forget the passage of time.

The country entrance is huge!

LIVING SPACE

On the left hand side as you enter through the entrance is the living space, a place for everyone to relax.

It's hard to decide whether to sit in a hammock chair, a grandma's rocking chair, or a stylish chair from IKEA.

You can sleep in a hammock!

KITCHEN

When you put your things in the fridge, write your name on them!

There is also a microwave, a water heater which you can use.

PUKAPUKA OFFICE

This is the PUKAPUKA office which is staff only.

We rent out board games.

SHOWER ROOM

The shower room is finished with light blue tiles that evoke the atmosphere of the Showa era. The bathtub is just for decoration, so you can only use the shower. With the special head shower, you can enjoy a special shower time just like in a foreign drama!

A head shower makes it easy to warm up your whole body!

YOGA SPACE

I usually use it to do yoga with yoga instructor Kanako, and for stretching and muscle training.

This is a free space that you can use, so please let us know if you would like to use it!

LIBRARY

We have a large selection of books and comics related to hot air balloons.

It also includes an album that unravels the history of PUKAPUKA.

Read the manga carefully.

The bookshelf is handmade and DIY!

This is a completely renovated toilet room.

The toilet is a LIXIL eggplant-shaped toilet and comes equipped with a washlet for your peace of mind.

Matt is that character named after Rand!

BANKEN

Emma, the guard dog of Pukapukaland.

She has a friendly personality and will continue to bark until he greets all visitors. Once he has been given some attention, he will calm down, so he will be happy if you pet him.
